President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that he will do whatever it takes to prevent a repeat of the recent #EndSARS protests in the country.
Addressing state house correspondents after the quarterly National Security Council (NSC) meeting at the presidential villa on Tuesday, minister of police affairs, Muhammad Dingyadi, said the president gave the assurance that all stakeholders will be involved in the process of maintaining peace in the country.
Dingyadi noted that bandits operating in some parts of the north west have been degraded, adding that their recent tactics is to hit and run just to show their presence.

The minister said that reports he receives from across the states indicate that the police are fully back on the roads and are working twenty four hours daily after the ENDSARS protests.
He said the National Security Council meeting was convened to brief president Buhari about security situation in the country.
