The Nigeria Basketball Federation NBBF is considering adopting the bubble format in the 2021 domestic leagues season amid Covid-19.
The format was a success in the 2020 National Basketball Association NBA and the FIBA AFRICA AFRO Basket qualification series in Kigali Rwanda.
As Nigerians anticipate the calendar for the 2021 domestic basketball season, the NBBF is considering available options.

The NBBF Board decry the effect of the pandemic on the growth and development of the domestic league and has resolved to learn from the experience of the NBA to ensure that it is safe to restart the leagues.
The board is optimistic that the best decisions will be taken with priority on public health.
