The sole administrator of the Niger Delta development commission NDDC, Effiong Akwa has approved the donation of 36 waste disposal trucks to the nine states of the Niger Delta region.
Akwa who announced the donation during an inspection of the commission’s warehouse in port Harcourt said the commission would partner with state governments of the Niger Delta region in order to improve the people’s wellbeing.

The NDDC Boss, said the continuous warehousing of the waste disposal trucks is of no interest to the commission and the people of the region, and as such directed the immediate donation of the trucks across the nine states of the region
He said the donation would go a long way to compliment the efforts of the state governments in keeping their states clean
Other items to be donated are 162 waste bin and two ambulance boat.
