The National Examinations Council, NECO, has assured Members of the public of its commitment to conducting effective examination within its statutory mandates
The Council in a statement signed by the Head of Information and Public Relations Azeez Sani says it will engage all the stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives of producing credible, good, and reliable result.
The statement expressed regret on the attitude of some schools who failed to utilize the extension period by the Council to complete the registration or the enrollment process of writing Basic Education Certificate Examinations.
The Council further said that it had made adequate provision of materials which were distributed to Examination Centres for seamless conduct of the exercise.

The Council added that it opened the window which expired Friday midnight last week to accommodate more candidates willing to write the examination.
