The National Examinations Council says it will cancel results and prosecute officials involved in examination malpractice in the just concluded National Examinations Council SSCE nationwide.
The Council also said, it has already constituted an Administrative Committee, saddled with the responsibility of investigating the allegation, in order to take appropriate actions.
A statement by the Head, Information and Public Relations of the Council, Azeez Sani says, it is acting based on Information by the management of a private television station before it, that some of the council’s examination centres had perfected and executed examination malpractice in the just concluded examinations.

The statement added that the council swung into action, by flagging the centers in different parts of Kaduna, identifying and isolating all the candidates’ scripts for scrutiny.
The council commended the management of the television station for the information, which will go along way, in ensuring the sanctity of public examinations.
The council also enjoins stakeholders to emulate the gesture of curbing the menace of examination malpractice.
