The 24 Member Bayelsa State Executive Council was inaugurated by Governor Duoye Diri on Tuesday with a charge on members to see to the improvement or the welfare of the people of the state.
The new Commissioners were sworn in at the Executive Chambers of the Government House in Yenagoa. They are assuming office six months after Governor Diri was sworn in Governor Douye Diri charged the newly sworn in commissioners to be loyal to the cause of a better Bayelsa State.

The new Exco members are already warming up for the task ahead as they settle down for business of moving the State forward in their various areas of responsibility
For Governor Diri, the prosperity of Bayelsans take front burner even with the inauguration of his cabinet, while for the new EXCO members, it is time to work the talk.
