The newly deployed Commissioner of Police for Ebonyi State Police Command, CP Aliyu Garba has resumed duty.
CP Garba, replaces Philip Sule Maku, who was last week redeployed to the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The Niger State born Aliyu Garba becomes the 24th Commissioner of Police of Ebonyi Command, since the creation of the State in 1996.

In his maiden briefing, CP Garba, vowed to channel all efforts in the fight against all sorts of heinous crimes such as robbery, kidnapping, cultism and other social vices, with the view to reducing their occurrence to the barest level in the state.
He also pledged to strengthen the policy of respect for fundamental rights of the citizens as well as professional conduct by officers and men in the discharge of their duties.
