Bandits have killed three soldiers in a gun battle in Magama Local Government Area of Niger State.
Two bandits were also killed and their bodies have been recovered from the scene of the incident.

This disclosure was made by Governor Abubakar Bello in Minna, shortly after a security meeting with heads of security agencies in the state.
Governor Abubakar Bello told Journalists that, already, the bodies of soldiers and bandits have been recovered.
The state’s Chief Executive noted that the security forces are working tirelessly to address the challenges, especially in communities that have been attacked by bandits and Boko Haram.
He explained that the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs from the twenty-five communities attacked by bandits, have been transported back to their communities, as normalcy is gradually returning.
