Some Islamic Religious Organizations in Niger State have engaged in a two-day prayer to seek Allah’s intervention over the activities of armed bandits, kidnappers, and cattle rustlers.
The prayer sessions which were conducted at the Central Mosque in Minna, attracted people from within and outside the state.
The prayer was the idea of the Shababul Faila group and the National Association of Quran Reciters and Memorizers, Niger State Chapter.
The Mosque was always filled to capacity and targeted at reciting the entire Holy Quran three hundred and thirteen times.

Sayyadi Khalil Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi was the Special Guest of Honour. He chaired both occasions.
The Chairman National Association of Quran Reciters and Memorizers, Niger State Chapter, who also represented the National Chairman, was at the event.
The Quran recitation was preceded by the Dariqatul Tijjaniyas weekly Zikirin Jumaa.
Islamic scholars from different parts of Niger State and the country also participated.
