The minister of defence retired major general Bashir Magashi says security challenges that have continued to manifest themselves as terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, make it mandatory for the military to adopt new strategies and tactics.
The minister who was represented by the Chief of defence staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin said this during the passing out parade and commissioning of Three hundred and seventy-three cadet officers of the direct short service course 25, at the Nigerian school of infantry, Jaji Kaduna state.
