Though the protest was disrupted by Policemen, members of the RevolutionNow in Adamawa State were able to express their views of the happenings in Nigeria, as the country celeberates 60 years of independence.
The protesters marched along the Hospital Road, chanting “RevolutionNow Nigeria.”
They decried the spate of insecurity especially the activities of herdsmen and insurgents in the country.
When contacted, the Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adeyanju, said the police disrupted the protest, because of the fear that miscreants may hijack the peaceful procession.
