In what appears to be increasing number of measures to stop the spread of Coronavirus pandemic, Nigeria has announced sweeping restrictions that affect travellers into the country.
These include temporary suspension of the Visa-On-Arrival Policy for citizens of African countries that was introduced in December last year.

The Nigerian Government also placed a 30-day ban on passengers from 13 countries around the world considered to be Coronavirus high-risk areas.
The ban, which will take effect from Saturday, affects travellers from China, Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain and Japan. Others are France, Germany, Norway, the United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
