Nigeria discharges 209 Covid-19 patients, records 143 new cases

At least 209 Covid-19 patients recovered from the infection across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases now 61,782.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reports that 143 new Covid-19 infections were also recorded in 10 states taking the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria since February 27 to 65,982.

Lagos has 70 new Covid-19 cases; Kaduna-25; FCT-22; Ogun-11; Plateau and Oyo-4 each; Ekiti-3; Osun-2; Edo and Kano-1 each.

There is no new Covid-19 death recorded in Nigeria in the last 24 hours as national death toll remains 1,165.
