About 15 Central Bank Governors and Ministers of Finance across the continent as well as other high-level African policy makers are aiming to formulate a policy that would leverage research for agricultural development.
The Senior Policy Seminar to be hosted by Nigeria is in collaboration with the African Economic Research Consortium, AERC, a Nairobi-based public non-profit organisation, devoted to advancement of economic policy research and training.

Nigeria’s hosting of the seminar is informed by the Central Bank of Nigeria’s effort to revamp agricultural value chains in the country in line with the agenda of reviving and diversifying the economy
