The Federal Government has impounded an aircraft belonging to Flair Aviation UK for flying into Nigeria for commercial operations during the Coronavirus pandemic without permission.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, who made this known on his Twitter account, said Flair Aviation which is a UK company was given approval for humanitarian operations but regrettably was caught conducting commercial flights.

He described the situation as callous adding that the aircraft has been impounded and the crew being interrogated. He noted that there shall be maximum penalty as it is a wrong time for the airline to try the resolve of the country.

ait.live gathered that the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has commenced investigation into the matter.
