This is the fourth briefing by the Federal Ministry of Health since the confirmation of the Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The Deputy Director (Special Duties), Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Priscilla Ibekwe, puts a figure to what Nigeria needs to ensure that the virus does not spread beyond the index case.
So far, Nigeria has reported 21 suspected cases in four states of the federation which include Lagos, Ogun, Kano, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The Minister noted that the government is making sure that all those who were on board the aircraft with the index case are found and tested to foresall any possible spread of the virus.
It would be recalled that N620 million was earlier approved as an emergency fund to fight the virus in the country.
