There are 917 new Covid-19 infections reported in 17 states. The latest figures published by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC show that the country’s total number of confirmed cases is 90,080.
FCT has 222 new Covid-19 cases; Lagos-214; Kaduna-119; Plateau-92; Nasarawa-50; Oyo-41; Adamawa-33; Ondo-32 and Abia-28
Other states reporting new Covid-19 cases are Ogun-19; Rivers-17; Kano-16; Yobe-14; Edo-8; Anambra-6; Ekiti-5 and Jigawa-1
Meanwhile, 255 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria including 59 community recoveries in Lagos State with total number of successfully treated cases now 75,044.
At least 9 persons have died of Covid-19 related complications across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll put at 1,311.
