Nigeria records 281 new Covid-19 cases; discharges 148 others

There are 13 states reporting 281 new Covid-19 infections with total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now 67,838

Lagos accounts for 123 new Covid-19 cases; FCT-64; Kaduna-38; Imo-15; Rivers-11; Plateau-8; Ogun-5; Bayelsa and Kwara-4 each; Bauchi and Edo-3 each; Kano-2; Osun-1.

There are 148 Covid-19 patients who have recovered from the infection across Nigeria including 61 in Lagos State under community-based case management. The total number of successfully treated cases in Nigeria rises to 63,430.

Meanwhile, 3 persons have died of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll now 1,176.
