Nigeria has set a new record of its highest daily Covid-19 infections of 930 in 24 hours. The new Covid-19 cases have been reported in 22 states.
Lagos leads with 279 new Covid-19 cases; FCT-179; Plateau-62n Kaduna-54; Kano and Katsina-52 each; Imo and Jigawa-42 each ; Rivers-38 and Kwara-30.
Other states with new Covid-19 cases are Nasarawa-19; Yobe-15; Ogun-13; Borno-10; Oyo and Niger-9 each; Ebonyi and Bauchi-6 each; Edo-5; Taraba-4; Sokoto and Cross River-2

There are 281 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours. These include 106 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with NCDC guidelines.
There has however been no new Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours in Nigeria as national death toll from infection remains 1,200.
