Residents in Nigerian rural communities are set to enjoy uninterrupted power supply as the Rural Electrification Agency says it would electrify one community at a time.
The Managing Director Rural Electrification Agency, Engineer Ahmad Salihijo, disclosed this during the commissioning of 85KW Solar Mini-grid at Dakiti, Akko Local Government Area Of Gombe State.
The event had the presence of Governor Inuwa Yahaya. He assured the state government’s commitment to ensure adequate supply for the rural dwellers.
It was a huge sigh of relief for the people of Da’kiti, a rural community in Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State, as they began to enjoy a major basic amenity.

An assembly of solar panels all contributing 85Kw of energy to the people, as part of the Federal Government’s off-grid supply to rural communities in the country.
