The United Arab Emirate says it has no reason to bar Nigerians from coming into the country.
This was the reaction of the UAE to the rumours making the round on the social media that it was sanctioning Nigeria because of a crime committed by Nigerian instagram fraudster, Ramoni Igbalode Abbas alias hushpuppi.
The UAE ambassador to Nigeria Fahad Al-Taffaq made the clarification when he appeared on the AIT’s current affairs programme democratic license.
Al-Taffaq said that Nigeria and the UAE enjoy a cordial relationship adding that President Muhammadu Buhari was in UAE in April 2019 to boost bilateral relations between the two nations.

On the fight against covid-19 the envoy said that his country has so far conducted 3 million tests with 53,000 tested positive and 43,000 discharged and very much ready to provide all necessary assistants to Nigeria to the coronavirus pandemic fight.
