The Minister of Women Affairs Pauline Tallen, has called on women to partake in the global political space, to change and shape the economies of Nations, including Nigeria.
In a release signed by the Minister, She said that history has been made, as the Americans have spoken and demonstrated the value Women can bring to Governance as Kamara Harris, emerges not just as the first woman, but as the first black woman, to be elected as Vice President of the United States.
The women affairs Minister added that, Kamara Harris emergence, is an affirmation that time is ripe for women to take their rightful place in governance.
Tallen added that the victory of the 35 year-old Esther Agbaje, as the first Nigerian-American in the Minnesota legislature, is also heartwarming which deserve celebration.

The Women Affairs Minister, then expressed confident of better days ahead, for the women and youth of this country and across the globe.
