The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Deputy President and National President of Nigerian Union of Teachers, NUT, Nasir Idris Gwandu, has won the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governorship Primary in Kebbi State.
Gwandu polled 1,055 votes to defeat two other aspirants in the exercise conducted at the Haliru Abdul Stadium in Birnin Kebbi.

Abubakar Gari Malam came second with 35 votes, while Senator Yahaya Abdullahi came third with 0 votes.
The Chairman of the APC Kebbi Governorship Primary Committee, Idris Yakubu, declared Gwandu the winner and commended all the contestants for their mature conduct.
