The National President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ibrahim Khaleel, is dead.
Khaleel, who is also the National Treasurer of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, died in his hotel room in Abuja late on Wednesday after he slumped and was rushed to National Hospital, Abuja, where he was confirmed dead.
Confirming the incident, Kano NULGE Chapter President, Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, said the late NLC National Treasurer will be buried in Wudil Local Government Area of Kano State on Thursday.
He studied Accountancy at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, obtained MBA from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, and also bagged MNI after studying at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, in Plateau state.

Until his death, Khaleel was the Chairman of the Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund, NSITF, investigative panel and a staff of Kano State Ministry of Local Government affairs.
