The Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, says the United Arab Emirates, UAE, will commence the issuance of visas to intending travelers from Thursday, October 8.
Sirika, on his Twitter handle, confirmed the new development and noted that travellers are now expected to have a return ticket, hotel booking, negative PCR result, and health insurance which can be paid through the airline or an agent and should be similar to Schengen requirement.
The Minister said the resumption of the airline’s operations will, however, depend on the commencement of visa issuance by the Emirates authorities.
