Delta state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says in order to get the best of the two in one project: Anwai Leisure park and the Film Village that are at the verge of completion will be commercially managed.
Governor Okowa who made this known while Fielding questions from journalists shortly after inspecting the twin projects located at Anwai, a suburb of the state capital Asaba, frowned at the delay in the completion of the twin projects and directed the contractors to ensure that the remaining works are completed in two months time.

Governor Okowa said he was informed that over 70% of the animals that would come in are being held back pending the completion of the place. He promised to look into alternative funding to hasten its completion.
The governor inspected the film Village section and said the state is already partnering Nollywood on its management while the project, he said, will provide the needed environment to the actors considering its closeness to the leisure park.
The leisure park and the film village, a one stop shop for any form of recreation and entertainment industry with observation tower, zoo, studio, amphitheater, artificial Lake, hotels, food Court, hostels among others are expected to be commissioned in two months time.
