The North East Development Commission, NEDC has donated 2 ambulances, hospital equipment and food items to the Bauchi State Government.
It is part of efforts to cushion the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic in the region.
Director at the Commission, Yerima Mohammed, who delivered the items to Bauchi State Government says, the interventionist agency is committed to supporting the well-being of the people in the North-East.

Since the outbreak of Coronavirus in Nigeria, the way and how to address the global pandemic has remained a challenge to individuals and governments across the world. The pandemic has become the biggest challenge to the health and the economic sectors in recent history.
Bauchi State Government represented by the Deputy Governor, Baba Tela, thanked the Commission for its kind gesture.
The items donated include 2 ambulances, infrared temperature equipment and food items.
