The north west governors and the new service chiefs have resolved to deploy new strategies that will help in addressing security challenges in the region.
Rising from an extraordinary meeting in Kaduna, led by the National Security Adviser Babagana Munguno, the new Service Chiefs assured that they will map out strategies to end insecurity in the region.
The meeting which expressed dismay over recent happenings in the south west zone calls on youth not to take law into their hands.
While speaking, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Leo Iraboh called on Nigerians to cooperate with them with the assurance that they will not relent in finding solutions to the problems.

The chairman, Northern Governors’ Forum Simon Lalong said, the governors of the north will support the service chiefs in their efforts to restoring peace in the region.
The National Security Adviser Babagana Mungunu who expressed worry over what is happening in the country, said the federal government is committed to the unity of the country with a promise that similar meeting will take place in all the geopolitical zones of the country in order to hear from locals of how to end insecurity in the country.
