The National Youth Service Corps NYSC, says promoting National Culture and Heritage across the states of the Federation is part of the core agenda of the scheme to engender National Unity.
NYSC Coordinator in Cross River State, Andrew Zemoh, made this known during the cultural carnival parade organised for corps members undergoing orientation training at the Obubra Camp.
Zemoh said the NYSC is partnering with Cross River State to promote the diversity and richness of the culture of the state as part of Nigeria’s Tourism hub.
He called on the Corps Member to respect the culture and tradition of their host communities when posted to their place of primary assignments.
