Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly in June this year, the apex Ndigbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide is appealing to Nigeria’s President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC to ensure that the Senate presidency slot is ceded to the South East geopolitical zone of the country.
The Secretary General of the Chidi Ibeh-led faction of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Okechukwu Isiguzoro made the appeal in Abakaliki, Monday, same day that the President-Elect and APC leaders, met with the Party’s lawmakers-elect over the soon to be inaugurated National Assembly leadership.
