In a bid to ensure peaceful and harmonious coexistence between Fulani herdsmen and their host communities, Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi visited some Fulani settlements in his domain to dialogue with them on the need to exposed criminal individuals amongst them.
The monarch expressed the belief that opening a conversation and dialogue with the Fulani headers who have been living with the people in the area for a long time will help in differentiating the criminal elements from genuine headers.
The monarch first port of call was a nomadic school located at Gaa Fulani, Odo-oba Area of lwoland before proceeding to meet with elders in the settlement where he urged the herders to prioritize the education of all their children in order to improve their knowledge and make them imbibe the habit of peaceful co-existence.
Oluwo also admonished them to sensitize their wards on the dangers of involving in criminal activities and the consequences of relating with peers with criminal tendencies.

He promised to continue to maintain close relationship with them in their various areas to sustain the relative peace enjoyed by all residents in the town.
