The Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission says it is ready to deliver transparent and credible local government elections in February next year.
Commission Chairman Joseph Aremo gave the assurance on Friday during the close of a workshop organized for officers and staff of the commission in Akure, the state capital.
Aremo said training of its officers will be continuous from now until the build-up to the February 24 council polls.
Participants, drawn from the eighteen local government of the state had their electoral knowledge and skills updated.

They described the workshop as timely and key to the Commission’s resolve to conduct free, fair, credible and transparent local government elections
