The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all the 18 chairmanship seats in last weekend’s Local Government Election in Ondo state.
Announcing the election results on Sunday night, Chairman of Ondo Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) Prof. Yomi Dinakin said there was no contest in five local governments.
Dinaki said the APC also cleared 194 councillorship seats out of the 198 seats.

Results in four remaining wards were declared inconclusive.
The newly elected Chairmen and Councillors are expected to be sworn-in this Monday by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
