The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,NSCDC Ondo state command says effective synergy with members of the public and other sister Agencies will help win the fight against Vandalism and illegal dealings in petroleum products.
The State Commandant of the corps,Hammed Abodunrin gave the hint while parading eight suspects who were transporting thirty nine thousand, two hundred litres of adulterated automotive gas oil (AGO), in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo state.

These eight suspects who were alleged to be involved in illegal petroleum product transactions were arrested at Abereke, A riverine community in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo state.
According to the NSCDC commandant, Hammed Abodunrin, the successful arrest of the oil Vandals was made possible through effective local security surveillance.
Abodunrin said winning the war against oil bunkering requires the cooperation of the public.
The Commandant said the corps also seized four boats used in transporting the adulterated product.
The command noted that the suspects would soon be arraigned in court after conclusion of investigations.
