Following the confirmed case of Coronavirus in Ondo State, Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has ruled out taking the patient to Lagos State for treatment.
Akeredolu who made this known in Akure, the state capital this Saturday at a world media conference said the State has the capacity to treat the patient who is a military officer that just returned from India.

The Governor said contact tracing for the patient has begun.
He stated that the contact tracing has been confined to the military barrack as the patient was in self-isolation since he returned from Indian assuring residents that there is no cause for fear.
The Governor also said there are plans to build five isolation centres across the State.
Ondo is the last state in the South-West geo-political zone to record a Coronavirus case.
