Briefing the media in Abuja, the National chairman of the party, Israel Davidson who was represented by the legal counsel officer, Okere kingdom said several calls and petitions with evidence to back the claims have been forwarded by the oppositions to The Commission’s national chairman to fish out staff involved in creating crisis in political parties but nothing seems to be done to address the matter.
The party further scored INEC 2019 performance low in the conduct of the general and Kogi state elections, warning that if the Commission fails to adopt a new approach in handling future polls especially the forthcoming Edo state governorship elections it may continue to heat up crisis in the political terrain.
It also urged President Buhari to adhere to the rule of law to tackle the growing numbers of human rights violations across the country to strengthen Nigeria’s democracy.
