Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to hold a closed-door door meeting with the 6 governors from the South-West geo-political zone today after the National Economic Council, NEC meeting.
The NEC meeting which commenced at about 11am Nigerian time is the first in 2020 and is being presided over by the Vice President.

The repayment of the budget support facility given to states by the Federal Government is likely to top the agenda of the council meeting.
Some of the governors that arrived early for the meeting are those of Delta, Akwa Ibom, Imo , Nasarawa, Jigawa, Kwara and Ekiti States.
Others are Osun, Plateau, Ondo, Kaduna, Sokoto, Edo and Benue States with the deputy governors of Anambra, Kano, Lagos, Oyo, Rivers, Abia and Gombe States also in attendance.
The newly sworn in Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma who also arrived early for the meeting was congratulated and welcomed with hugs by his colleagues.
The NEC meeting which usually holds at the Council Chambers is however taking place at the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa. No reason has been given for the change of venue
