Vice president Yemi Osinbajo says the federal government will continue to provide the necessary infrastructure to drive its entrepreneurship and digital economic policies.
Osinbajo stated this on Thursday in Abuja, when he received a delegation of Chinese businessmen led by founder of Ali Baba group jack ma at the presidential villa Abuja.
The vice president who described the visit of jack ma as strategic, noted that government is also looking at benefitting from the efficiency of digital economy by revolutionising its business.
He added that government will continue to work closely with private investors to boost its economic vision.
Earlier in his remark, the founder and former chief executive officer of Ali Baba jack ma said the purpose of the team’s visit is to support e-infrastructure and entrepreneurship development in Nigeria and Africa.
He expressed delight that four Nigerian entrepreneurs are among the top ten selected for the African entrepreneur prize, a flagship project seeking to support African entrepreneurs by awarding a one million dollars grant over the next ten years.
