Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is visiting Ebonyi State about 7 days after suspected herdsmen killed 15 people in 3 communities across Ishielu Local Government Area.

Osinbajo who arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu State was received by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

He proceeded for his onward movement to Ebonyi State where his first port of call was in Egedegede community where the Governor Dave Umahi and leaders of the community were on hand to receive him.

Still in a grieving mood, the villagers jettisoned the traditional presentation of kola nuts to their visitor and his entourage, requesting instead that Federal Government urgently intervenes and address their current plights.
