Health workers in Owerri, the Imo State capital, have fully complied with the seven days warning strike of the Joint Health Sector Unions, JOHESU, as most offices visited in public hospitals by ait.live were under lock and key.
The JOHESU urged the Federal Government to pay off their allowances or risk crippling the sector.
The strike, which is in its 3rd day, is already taking its toll on patients, following calls by many for a quick intervention from the Federal Government.
