The suspected Coronavirus case in Bodija, Oyo State has tested positive.
This was made known by the state governor, Seyi Makinde who explained that the Oyo State government is collaborating with the university college hospital Ibadan on the case.
Governor Makinde also stated that the COVID-19 taskforce set up in the state is intensifying contact tracing in Ona Ara local government where the deceased American whose case was confirmed in Ekiti, stayed briefly.
The Oyo state governor clarified that health authorities have contacted the family and the community has been put on the alert with a notice for self-isolation of identified close contacts.

The state has also identified another returnee from the US state of Texas who it says is under self-isolation and closely monitored by the state epidemiological team.
All other recent returnees have been directed to report themselves and self-isolate for fourteen days
