Human Rights activist, Mike Ozekhome has given online News media Sahara Reporters seven days to withdraw its publication, which he says defames his person.
Ozekhome in a letter to Sahara Reporters said that the publication impugned on his integrity, especially where it said he wanted the suspended Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu dead.
He also complained that the reporter referred to him as corrupt and vote rigger for the PDP.
He refutes the allegations and says he never wanted Magu dead and was not at anytime arraigned or convicted of any criminal offence.
Ozekhome therefore wants Sahara Reporters to publish a retraction of the defamatory write up, and tender an unreserved apology for the damage the publication has done to his image.
