The Chairman Board of Trustees, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Walid Jubrin, says it’s discomforting to know that the Hotel accommodating the PDP Edo National Campaign Chairman and other PDP Governors, including the National Campaign Committee members has been put on a siege by some security agencies.
The Chairman said the rule must be one and not selective, leaving only the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governors to move very freely.
He said, therefore, Wike being the PDP National Campaign Chairman and all his committee members must be left alone and free to remain in Benin until the end of the election.
Walid said the PDP wants to see free, fair, and transparent election conducted in Edo State, without fighting, killings, and destruction of properties.
He enjoined all voters to be peaceful and abide by the rules and regulations of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The BOT Chairman wishes all Edo people peaceful and successful election, and urged that the winner be allowed to emerge peacefully.
