The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) governors have cautioned the Federal Government against waging war with the neighbouring Niger Republic.
The Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, emphasised this after three hours of a closed-door meeting with the National leadership of the party in Abuja.

Governor Mohammed also restated the support of the governors and organs of the party towards its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in recovering their mandate, through the tribunal.
The governors pledged to work with party officers at the state and national levels to ensure good governance and accountability.
