The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says, the alleged massive surge for the party’s membership in Edo State typifies the end-of-the-road for the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, ahead of the State Governorship Election.
The party in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan, notifies of the party’s decision to expand the registration capacity of Ward Offices across the state, in a bid to accommodate the quest of the Edo people in realizing their aspirations on the platform of the PDP.
Restating its charge for a free, fair and credible election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the party assures of its confidence that the September 19 governorship elections will be a referendum and a determined march for freedom, from what it described as the stranglehold of the repressive All Progressives Congress, APC.
