The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has condemned the gruesome attack on Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, Katsina State by suspected terrorists.
The Bandits had attacked the boarding school on Saturday, 24 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari arrived his home town in the state, for a one week leave.
The party’s spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan while breifing the media in Abuja, asked the president, as the Commander-in-chief, to cut short his leave and return to the Villa, to address the situation headlong.

The opposition party says, the president’s refusal to honour the invitation by the House of Representatives, for a collective deliberation on security, is a clear indication that he has failed as the Commander-in-chief, and again called for his resignation.
The PDP urges Nigerians to remain alert and prayerful, as the nation wades through the nightmare, under an insensitive and uncoordinated administration.
It further sympathises with the people of Katsina State, especially the parents of the kidnapped students, who have been subjected to harrowing experience, in the hands of the suspected terrorists.
