The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to address the myriads of political, economic and security crisis ravaging the nation under his watch.
In a statement by the national spokesperson of the party, Kola Ologbodiyan, the PDP described the President’s peace-seeking trip to Mali as a prioritization of the situation in the troubled West African country over the festering problems in Nigeria and misplacement of governance urgency as well as an inexcusable dereliction of statutory responsibilities vested on the office of the President.
The PDP further held that the APC- led Federal Government, in spite of the huge outcry by Nigerians, has taken no decisive steps to address the plummeting economic fortunes of the country and has also failed to confront the widespread corruption in which some officials and leaders of his party the APC have been allegedly linked to.
The party maintained that under the current administration the nation has experienced what it tagged as the worst form of division, instability in the polity and a violation of extant statutory regulations.

The PDP, therefore, urged President Buhari to look beyond the surface and outrightly end unnecessary trips outside the country while governance is failing at home.
