As part of efforts to resolved the lingering crisis rocking the Plateau State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, a former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, led a delegation of the PDP reconciliation Committee to Jos, Plateau State.
The Closed door meeting held at the country home of the former Governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang, also had in attendance a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Jeremiah Useni, the National Deputy Chairman of the PDP, North, Nazif Gamawa, former governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo, and National Vice Chairman, North Central, Theophilus Dakashan, among others.

It would be recalled, that there has been crisis in the Plateau state chapter of the PDP since the party suffered defeat after the 2019 election with members divided between Jang and Useni group.
Although the delegation did not speak to Journalists at the end of the meeting which lasted for over five hours, ait.live gathered that the visit by the committee led by the former Senate President was to the leaders of the two groups on ways to resolve every issue in the interest of the party and people of the state.
