The Plateau state police command has assured residents of the state of its preparedness to secure lives and property during Saturday’s polls.
This was made known during an address by the commissioner of police in charge of election security in the state CP mamman Dauda.
The police headquarters in Jos is witnessing an usually high level of activity as final arrangements are being made for Saturday’s polls . The commissioner of police deployed to the state for the election Mamman Dauda said the police in collaboration with other sister agencies have put in place adequate measures to deal with any security breach.

CP Mamman Dauda also warned men of the command against unwholesome practices, as decisive action will be taken against erring officers.
