17 persons have been arrested at Bolowo community in Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State for allegedly destroying the building housing the tomb of the late King of Zion II His Eminence Dr I.O Jemine who died in 2014.
The development is not unconnected to the cold war between two brothers who are laying claim to the king of Zion throne after the death of their father in 2014.
There has been a cold war between the Two brothers, Princewill and George Jemine who were made chiefs by their Father when he was alive.
Both men are laying claim to the king of Zion throne which directs affairs in the Riverine Community Of Bolowo in Ese local Government area of Ondo state.
Residents who spoke to ait.live said the battle for the throne took a new twist when some youths lay siege on the tomb of the late spiritual head of the community, His Eminence Dr. Isaiah Jemine.
They also want Government to intervene in the crisis to prevent further breakdown of law and order.
